Welcome to LosAngeles-Hypnosis.com! I'm John Carroll, a therapist who helps people who suffer with anxiety issues, insomnia, or depression. I'm currently in training to become a licensed psychologist under the supervision of Dr. Murphy (Psy:22783).

We have our primary office in Beverly Hills, by Wilshire and Robertson blvd. If you want to come in for a session, it's helpful to know a little about my relaxation techniques and specialties. You'll also want to look over my privacy policy, which explains how I ensure privacy and how sometimes, as required by law, I have to break confidentiality. Have questions about session length? Dr. Murphy (my clinical supervisor) was recently featured on "The Doctors" demonstrating hypnosis and behavioral techniques with a person who felt quite nervous about flying.

The show, which airs weekday afternoons nationwide, is an information-based talk show about doctors, treatment, and therapy! They contacted Dr. Murphy to demonstrate the use of relaxation techniques and virtual reality on camera.

After a short commercial break, we see if she's able to take a flight around Los Angeles.
The Challenge: A short trip above the Southland in a small propeller plane. We generally recommend a few sessions before taking the flight. I also think it's better to start on a larger airplane!

John Carroll is a psychological assistant currently working under Dr. Murphy's supervision to help clients who have anxiety, phobias, or who want to quit smoking. He specializes in applied relaxation, hypnosis, and psychotherapy. He is working towards his doctorate and licensure as a psychologist.
