Dr. John J. Murphy has been a certified hypnotist for 7 years and in the Beverly Hills/Los Angeles area for 5 years. He's recently obtained his doctorate in general psychology at Capella University.
Dr. Murphy attended college at Rutgers University and earned a B.A. in Psychology. He then attended Capella University and earned a M.S. and then a Ph.D. in General Psychology. John received his certification as a clinical hypnotherapist through the American Council for Hypnotist Examiners and is a member of the American Psychological Association, the world's largest organization for psychologists.
He has taught many classes in phobias, smoking cessation, relaxation techniques, and incorporating cognitive/behavioral techniques in hypnotherapy.
